In a 40- year long stint in business, I closely studied the core needs and problems of this growing city. The city's unplanned growth, the erratic water supply, faltering power supply, terrible roads, comical flyovers, road safety needs of school children, drastic pollution in Pune's wonderful rivers etc. scores of issues that trouble us every day ! I did not pronounce all this publicly so far. If I had, it would be labeled as 'a builder's business interests'. I needed the right platform to tackle these issues and thus I knocked on the doors of the Lok Sabha.
